Franchisee Celebrates Milestone by Launching a Second Territory
We love watching the journeys of our franchisees and one lady who has gone from strength to strength is Nicola Case, virtual assistant and business owner of Pink Spaghetti Milton Keynes.
Nicola celebrates her fourth business birthday with Pink Spaghetti on 18th September and to celebrate is also launching her second franchise territory – Pink Spaghetti Northampton.
Why Pink Spaghetti?
Nicola was no stranger to running her own business when she joined Pink Spaghetti, having already been a freelance Sales and Marketing consultant for a number of years.
You may be wondering what made her take the leap to join Pink Spaghetti, and Nicola describes it as fate!
Whilst researching franchise businesses for a client (in the travel sector), she stumbled across Pink Spaghetti and immediately felt that our ethos and philosophy resonated deeply with what she was trying to achieve.
Nicola got in touch with our founders, Vicky and Caroline, to arrange a discovery call and the rest is history! Nicola says: “As soon as I spoke to Vicky and Caroline, I knew this was the right move for me. Their vision, energy and vibe was exactly what I was working towards and it felt like a no-brainer to sign up.”
Nicola had previously spent most of her freelance career in the IT Security sector and wanted to branch out and expand other areas of her business. She felt Pink Spaghetti would enable her to do this and when she weighed up the sign-up cost versus launching her own business website, marketing and branding, the cost benefits were easy to see and she would also still be able to earn money while Pink Spaghetti HQ set everything up for her. Add to this the in-depth training and access to the sizeable franchise network and Nicola knew it was the right decision.
Career Highlights
As a freelancer, Nicola always felt her potential earnings were restricted as she could only take on what she alone could manage, therefore capping her revenue. Now, as a Pink Spaghetti franchisee and with the guidance and support of HQ, she has taken the leap into being an employer and has two equally talented team members working for her. With the support and backup of our exceptional virtual assistant network of co-franchisees, Nicola knows she never has to turn down work from a client and can carry on earning even when she is away on holiday or simply wants to take time out - the holy grail of flexible working!
It was this move into employing staff that led to Nicola to build on her ‘empire’ by buying her neighbouring Northampton territory. As Pink Spaghetti is well known in the area, it also makes networking easier as the fantastic reputation of our franchisees often goes before them.
Nicola’s goal is to employ a successful and happy team and oversee the business in a more ‘Directorship’ role, enabling her to concentrate on key clients and strategy. Vicky and Caroline have once again been on hand to support and guide her in this process and we are thrilled to see the start of the next chapter.
Nicola is passionate about supporting her local area and a number of charities too (she is also Trustee for a local Childhood Cancer Charity) and her aim is to combine this with her Pink Spaghetti work to truly give something back to the local community.
We are so proud of Nicola and cannot wait to see where the next four years takes her Pink Spaghetti journey. Happy Birthday from everyone!!
