My name is Ruth Eastwood and I run Pink Spaghetti Winchester and Southampton. We help small business owners and entrepreneurs reach their potential by supporting them with tasks that are essential for business growth. We can take on the challenges of your business allowing you to focus your time and energy on the tasks that you love most. 
I live in Winchester and am passionate about helping small businesses in my area. Our clients are busy people, often juggling multiple roles but as a small business owner myself, I fully understand the challenges you may face. With a friendly but professional pro-active approach, by listening to your needs, we can help your business not only succeed but thrive. 
We have the expertise to support business owners with their administrative tasks and marketing requirements. We can look after your social media, organise events, carry out proof-reading and research, send out newsletters, and take on project management. 
Whatever the task, the great thing about using our virtual assistant service is that you only pay for the time you need. Our clients have complete flexibility to decide how many hours they need and we can work with them on either a ‘pick up and put down’ or ‘retained’ basis’.

I have been running my business since February 2022 after many years of working in managerial positions within the field of academic publishing and the non-profit sector. As a highly organised and creative professional, I have a proven track record of delivering results quickly and efficiently and consistently meeting client expectations and deadlines. 
My experience includes running day-to-day operations, marketing and project management as well as research, report design and the facilitation of online events. I’m proud to have built successful working partnerships with senior leaders – be they businesses, finance, third sector, universities or local government. 
I am hard working and efficient and love the challenges thrown at me by business owners. It's a privilege to support our clients and see their businesses thrive and grow.

Mel is our social media and administration assistant and is an experienced administrator with a 
background in creating social media content and providing business support. Mel is super-organised 
and very methodical in her approach to work; she’s calm and professional with a positive, can-do 
attitude in everything that she does. 
Jo joins us as an experienced administrator having previously worked in local council in this role. Having been a small business owner herself, Jo has first-hand experience in what it takes to manage, market, and run your own business, offering invaluable insights when supporting clients. Knowing the challenge of small business ownership, she is particularly enthusiastic about supporting others in achieving their goals. Jo is a focused and organised individual with an eye for detail while maintaining an approachable and friendly outlook. 

Why a virtual assistant? 

For businesses who have no need or budget to employ staff, we are the perfect solution. We can help out for a one-off project or do regular tasks for you, allowing you to concentrate on running your business. 
There are no on costs such as sick pay, tax, NI or pension contributions and we charge you only for the hours we work. 
As well as charging by the hour we can also offer a retainer agreement from as little as four hours per month to help you stay on top of your budgeting each month and know exactly where you are with regards to spending. Whichever method you choose we are always transparent with our pricing so you will never get a surprise bill.
