My name is Catherine McKinnon and I run Pink Spaghetti South Manchester. We are here to support all kinds of small business owners with a wide range of tasks, whenever you need us. I live in Didsbury and am passionate about supporting small businesses across South Manchester, including Chorlton, Trafford, Gatley and beyond. As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges you may face and as your virtual assistant, I can help you to succeed. I pride myself on being approachable, listening to my clients, and being pro-active along the way.
I have been running my own small business for over 8 years now, after many years of experience in corporate work, including several varying managerial positions.
I previously worked within a textile business, which started as a manufacturer and evolved into an importer during my time with them. My roles included managing various manufacturing departments, quality assurance, customer services, warehousing, operations and production, as well as technical control.
I have experience in various management roles as well as dealing with all aspects of running a business. I understand the areas a business needs to make everything work, including planning, accounting, marketing and customer service. I am highly organised and efficient and love helping my clients grow their businesses.
As a virtual assistant, I free up business owners to focus on what they do best and my assistant does the same for me! Having a trusted team member allows me to dedicate more of my time to my clients, and spend less time on administrative tasks. Social media is very important for any small business, but the mechanics of scheduling posts across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram can be a time-consuming job!
