Hello, I’m Trish Guy and I run Pink Spaghetti Durham and Darlington. I live in Sedgefield and provide virtual personal assistant services to small businesses across County Durham and Darlington. 
 
I love helping small business owners by handling the back-office tasks that keep their businesses running smoothly, so they can focus on what they do best. From managing customer enquiries, data entry, bookkeeping to chasing invoices, expense filing, and document formatting - I provide hands-on support to streamline your operations. 
 
With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, I take the hassle out of administrative work, ensuring everything runs efficiently behind the scenes. Whether you need ongoing assistance or ad-hoc support, I’m here to help. 

Why Me 

I have over 20 years experience working in client-facing roles in professional service organisations and more recently I have worked in the public sector. 
 
My experience includes working within HR, including providing outsourced HR support and working in personal tax departments in accounting and law firms. I have worked with a diverse range of clients during this time which has given me a great deal of experience in listening and understanding clients to provide support tailored to their needs. 
 
I take pride in building strong relationships with my clients, ensuring I understand their needs and to deliver tailored solutions. I am friendly and approachable, with a keen eye for detail. I also love learning new systems, so I can quickly adapt to your processes and provide the support you need with minimal disruption. Let me take care of the admin, so you can focus on what you do best! 

Why a virtual assistant? 

A virtual assistant does not just cover the traditional diary management and minute taking tasks, we are more of a virtual personal assistant, a clone of you as the business owner, getting through the tasks on your to-do list you don’t want to do, don’t have the time or the inclination to do. 
 
While we generally work virtually, we can help in person too if that works better for you. We can help with regular ongoing work or a one off project. You only pay for the time we spend doing your work, there is no holiday or sick pay, no tax, NI or pension costs, you don't pay for coffee breaks or office chat, and we are already trained in the things you need done. 
 
We offer either a "pick up, put down" hourly rate, or retainer agreements from just 4 hours a month for something more stable - whichever suits your business. We pride ourselves in open and honest pricing, so you will never get a surprise bill, and we can work to your budget.

I have worked with this client for 18 months, initially supporting them to bring their bookkeeping records up to date and then with their monthly bookkeeping administration. My work with them has since expanded to setting up online courses on Thinkific, implementing a CRM system, and scheduling their blog content on their website. 

HR Team 

This client provides HR consultancy services to SME’s and I have worked with them for over a year. I provide flexible support to assist the team of consultants with a wide range of admin tasks including complex data uploads, updates to their HR system, document formatting, managing their training system, creating reports and surveys, and maintaining internal spreadsheets. 

Career Coach 

I provide personal assistant support to this client to help them manage their executive coaching business. This includes managing their inbox, calendar and booking system, bookkeeping administration, maintaining their CRM system, preparing detailed reports, and drafting client correspondence. I also have recently provided in person event support with a group coaching workshop. 

Small Charity 

I support this small charity by providing flexible administration support. My role mainly involves communicating with their partners to ensure the charity has all the information they need for their workshops, arranging meetings and requesting feedback. We have been working together for 2 years. I also provide meeting minute support for their quarterly trustee meetings.
