Type: 10-15 hours per week; part-time; flexible to work around school hours 
Location information: Remote, must be local to Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire area 
Rate of pay: £12.50 per hour (full time equivalent £24,375 based on 37.5 hours per week)

Job description: 
We are a small and growing Virtual Assistant company based near Luton looking 
for a remote/home-based marketing and administration assistant to support us 
with our increasing client base of small businesses. 
Your main job duties will include: 
Writing social media posts/blogs 
Writing newsletters 
Sourcing images and designing social posts using Canva 
Scheduling social media posts 
Updating websites 
Utilising client systems to carry out tasks 
Administration, which may include: 
Spreadsheets (creating and updating) 
Preparing and updating documents 
Setting up/populating CRM systems 
Minute taking 
Our clients are very varied, so this is not an exhaustive list. 
Your key qualities: 
Excellent communication (written and oral) and people skills essential 
A confident self-starter, able to deal with clients at all levels 
Flexible and pragmatic with a positive can-do attitude and a strong work ethic, relishing never having two days the same 
Efficient and well-organised with a calm approach to work 
Ability to work on a variety of tasks for different clients, often to tight deadlines 
Happy to learn new skills and new systems 
Ability to work well without supervision 
Previous marketing and social media experience (ideally LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram) 
Excellent knowledge of the Office suite of products, particularly Word and Excel 
Your experience:  
You will need at least 5 years’ experience working in a marketing role with a sound administrative background.
