Job Title: Business Support Specialist 
 
Type: Part time: initially 10-15 hours per week spread over 3 or 4 working days. 
 
Location information: Remote - flexible working hours (equipment provided) 
 
Rate of pay: This is a pro rata position, starting at 12 hours per week – Either 4 hours over 3 days or 3 hours over 4 days. Salary: £7,862.40 pro rata. Possibility of additional hours in future – ideal for someone looking to grow with the company.

We're Hiring! Join Pink Spaghetti Chelmsford & Brentwood as a Business Support Specialist. Pink Spaghetti Chelmsford & Brentwood is growing and we’re on the lookout for a 
proactive, tech-savvy team member to join our fast-paced, flexible working environment. 
We support a wide variety of small businesses with everything from admin and social media to personal support and project management. Our reputation is built on reliability, adaptability, and smart solutions and we’re looking for someone who reflects these values. 
 
About the role: 
 
Work across varied tasks: admin, tech, marketing, finance, personal assistance, and more. 
No two days are the same – this is a dynamic role that requires initiative and adaptability. 
Training and development opportunities, plus the chance to represent us at client meetings and networking events. 
 
Your Main Duties: 
 
General administration 
Management of email inboxes and diaries 
Scheduling social media posts 
Minute taking 
Liaising with clients 
Document editing and creation 
Bookkeeping (invoicing / expense tracking) 
Lifestyle support – eg. booking appointments / sourcing trades people 
 
Who we're looking for: 
 
Highly self-motivated and able to manage your workload independently. 
Well-organised and able to juggle multiple tasks while staying calm under pressure. 
Quick to pick up new platforms and tools, with strong overall tech confidence. 
Keen eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy in everything you do. 
Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint), Canva, Xero, Asana, Monday, 
WordPress, Google Workspace, and social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn. 
Comfortable updating and formatting PowerPoint presentations. 
Confident appearing on our social media channels and happy to create content featuring yourself to promote our services. 
Capable of handling a range of tasks including website updates, content creation, tech support, bookkeeping, and research. 
Proactive, trustworthy, and keen to contribute to a growing, supportive team. 
 
Skills & Experience That Will Help You Stand Out 
 
Bookkeeping experience 
General administration and executive support 
Experience with project management tools (e.g. Trello, Asana, Monday) 
Strong digital literacy and ability to learn independently 
Previous experience in a fast-paced or corporate environment, delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines
