Virtual Assistant Worthing 

I am Beverly, owner of Pink Spaghetti Worthing and surrounding areas. We are administration specialists for small businesses and busy professionals who are aren’t in a position to take on employees. 
 
I live in Pulborough and love working as a virtual assistant, supporting local businesses by taking care of all their small background, time-consuming tasks, with the objective of allowing them to free up their time to focus on their clients and enjoy life outside of business! It also gives me the opportunity to offer flexibility to businesses who are seasonal and might only need help during their busy periods. 
 
Working with local businesses and seeing them flourish is what motivates me and leaves me with a sense of pride at the end of each day. 

Why Me 

I have lived in West Sussex for 20 years and before moving to Sussex I worked in London for a large corporate company as a Sales Secretary. It was a great opportunity and I gained valuable skills and experience but when I started a family, the long hours which sometimes continue into the night, was no longer working for me. 
 
We moved to Sussex and when both of my children started school, I started working again and was lucky enough to work for some wonderful, local small businesses. Working for a small business requires you to learn a variety of different areas of business administration, as you often have to take on various roles. This is something I thrived on and loved being a part of - but I needed flexibility to balance my family life, which is what has lead me to become a virtual assistant. 

Why a virtual assistant? 

A virtual assistant can be a valuable, cost-effective resource to any small business or solopreneur, without the responsibility of having an employee. You have the advantage of not having to pay tax, national insurance, sick/holiday pay and pension. There is also the benefit of a ‘pick up and put down’ hourly rate where you would only pay for the hours we work. Another option is a retainer agreement which could be agreed from only four hours a month. 
 
Many small business owners spend seven days a week working on their business, they think they have to do everything themselves, which ultimately can lead to burnout or even a business failing. Just think of what you could achieve if you out-sourced the small tasks? You could use that extra time working on your business strategy, or focusing on growing your client base. 
 
We also pride ourselves on being able to identify solutions to bring efficiency to business procedures and always looking for new innovate ways to increase productivity. 
 
A virtual personal assistant can certainly give you that time back whilst also offering flexibility, to enable you to scale up during busy times or scale down during quieter periods. 

Why Pink Spaghetti? 

At Pink Spaghetti Worthing I may be a single person business owner but this doesn’t mean I can’t help with larger projects, or if I become ill there won’t be anyone else to step in. Being part of the Pink Spaghetti franchise, I am amongst an amazing network of other Franchisees, we are all professionals with a range of skills which means there will always be back up! We also share our knowledge and skills so if there is something that someone doesn’t know the answer to, or is working on a new piece of software, there is always someone to ask. 

A range of Virtual PA Services 

We can carry out a variety of tasks to our customers, sometimes this can be a list of things the business owner has been procrastinating about because they either don’t know how to do it, or they simply just haven’t had the time. More commonly, these could be general administration, social media, organising a filing system, sorting out expenses and receipts or helping with your branding. 
 
We also provide personal assistant services in the home such as organisation tasks, researching better utility deals, trades-persons or cleaners. You may even need someone to plan a special party.
