My name is Yasmin McGlashan and I run Pink Spaghetti PA Services Weston-super-Mare. I live in Weston-super-Mare and provide virtual assistant services to businesses across North Somerset, including Portishead, Clevedon and Bridgwater.
What does a virtual assistant do? The answer is any of those important, behind-the-scenes tasks that busy business owners don’t have the time, inclination or expertise to do themselves. It can be anything from general admin and data entry, to social media content writing, posting and monitoring, to marketing assistance.
What I love is seeing the difference I make to businesses. Once these vital – but routine - tasks are taken off business owners’ hands, they are free to spend the time doing what they really want to do: spending time with their clients, growing their business, or simply having more hours in their day.
Before starting my business, I worked for 15 years in the publishing industry. The roles I performed all had a strong emphasis on customer service, and required a huge amount of problem solving, organization and communication. Since leaving the corporate world at the beginning of 2020, these skills I had developed have proved invaluable to running a business and helping a growing list of clients with widely varying requirements.
I am highly organized, calm under pressure, and I have a real desire to help small business owners reach their goals. I always take the time to get to know their business very well, so that I can not only get the work done to a high standard, but also add value along the way.

We provide a range of marketing and admin services for this Weston-super-Mare based client. We undertook a refresh of their Facebook page and Google My Business pages, including updated branding. We created an Instagram account for the business, and we post regularly to all these accounts. We produce a monthly newsletter for clients and have created a range of marketing material such as ‘recommend a friend’ vouchers, appointment cards and headed notepaper.
Software and Website Design Company
This is a small business based in Clevedon. We post regularly to their Facebook and LinkedIn pages, writing the content for the posts and creating branded memes. This client was working with a local college to deliver a large number of workshops over a period of a few weeks. We also worked with the same client on some additional workshops, adding the details to both Eventbrite and to their website.
This client required assistance with their social media and marketing over a period of a few months. We created and posted branded content for their LinkedIn page, as well as researching and writing a monthly blog and posting it to their website.
