Hello! I am Amy Milchard, and I run Pink Spaghetti Sheffield and Surrounds. With a team of superbly helpful, knowledgeable and organised virtual assistants, we’re make small business owners lives’ easier. We create that space in the diary you so badly need, picking up the tasks that need doing but not necessarily by you.
I live in Sheffield and I love living in a town full of independent businesses and opportunities. When I set my business up I did it to give essential and professional services to small and independent businesses to help them – and, because I actually enjoy someone of the jobs because most people hate! I love the challenges, the excitement and being able to support ideas in different businesses, while also running an effective business of my own.
In 2021 my virtual assistant franchise turned 5years old. We have supported many small business owners with advice, one-off jobs and problem solving, through to complex planning, researching and analysing business information and processes on their behalf. We also keep the day-to-day tasks running too and because any busy person can benefit, we’ve gathered experience in multiple sectors. We’re not limited in this respect and it makes for fantastic experience and insight into business.
My background has always been operational and people management, with business support management, as well as customer facing roles in the private and public sector. My work has always been about organising people, processes and services. About getting things done properly and on time. Becoming an independent business owner delivering those support services to other business owners felt natural and achievable. I’m proud to provide business solutions every day to all of our clients.
Growing the business meant growing a team, but of course, that also meant opportunities to expand skills, experience and knowledge. We have administration, process management, marketing and social media skills in house, along with a wealth of experiences in adapting to and managing a wide range of systems and software applications.

Online retail company
Lots of the services we provide prop up already great systems and teams and in this case we were brought in to manage distinct areas of marketing activities. We manage weekly emailing campaigns, in support of the overall marketing strategy of the company. Over time we built up knowledge and have taken on social media campaigns, and updating of online shops. We’ve built a great working relationship and so knowing we are GDPR complaint, we supported them to fulfil their GDPR requirements and record keeping.
Another client where they have a team and a rapidly growing organisation, however, when it comes to operational support, and PA tasks to the director, they prefer to outsource to us. We are versatile and skilled in many aspects of administration, process management and customer service, meaning they have been able to focus on the growth of the accountancy team, while leaving other matters in the hands of trusted skilled individuals at half the cost. We have also supported recruitment and trained and supported an administrator and receptionist to help them grow even further.
With this client, they know they can come to us when they have a big project they need support on and so, while undertaking a magazine project, they asked if we could support them in audio typing their interviews for them to use for the articles they had been commissioned to produce. Time is of the essence for every busy business owner and building a CRM is essential for growth – but only if it’s well maintained! A client of ours who uses us from time to time to support with admin realised that there was a serious piece of work to tackle some data cleansing and updating records in their system.
