I am Jo Hayland and am the proud owner of Pink Spaghetti Guildford & Farnham. I have the privilege of working with local business owners who make Guildford such a special place to live and to work.
Having lived in the town for over 20 years, I have steadily built a well-established local network and have a vested interest in making the businesses I work with succeed and flourish.

Projects have always been key to my work. From organising corporate events at the very start of my career to managing complex programmes of work at Virgin Media through to the BBC.
I have always been given a portfolio of projects to manage and this is something I still have. A portfolio of local business owners.
Whatever the size and scale of a business, the principles are the same. There are plans to put in place to deliver results; gaps in processes to plug and risks to overcome.
It’s this structure and tenacity that I am able to bring to small business owners. Having someone with a disciplined approach ensures that processes are put in place to help a small business to run seamlessly that is forward thinking.
My team is virtual. I am lucky enough to be part of a nationwide franchise and each one of the 50 franchisees has a unique skill set.
I can guarantee that anything can be delivered within the network – if I can’t do it, there will always be someone who can.

Why a virtual assistant?
My clients are busy people. They are also incredibly good at what they do. But it is too much to expect them to do everything. If they are serving customers, training delegates or designing products, typically they don’t have time for all the tasks that are needed to run the business itself.
Sometimes, they are so engrossed in the day to day running of their business or are too close to their products, that new ideas become difficult to generate. Having a new perspective or a sounding board in place in the form of a Virtual Assistant, gives business owners the opportunity to bounce ideas around and plan for the future.
There are times when a business owner is especially busy and having someone to draw upon when they need it is vital.
