I am Charlotte Doniger a Virtual Assistant and own Pink Spaghetti Colchester. 
 
Running a business can be tough pushing you to your limits yet you find the strength to continue even in difficult times. I’ve always admired the entrepreneurial spirit and drive small business owners have. For some, in times of difficulty or change the access to highly skilled resource is prohibitive due to cost or the fear of employing the wrong person. I set my business up to give business owners in my local area the access to critical skills they need to deliver change and growth. 
 
I live in Wakes Colne, just outside Colchester. I believe successful local businesses are critical to maintaining great, happy places to live with good jobs, good communities and strong economies. 

Why Me 

I have consistently worked in sales and marketing for over 25 years. I started in the travel industry before quickly moving into the technology industry gaining a wealth of experience across blue chip technology leading organisations. I worked with some inspirational leaders and mentors who helped guide and shape my business development career within the sales and marketing function. I lead teams across multiple markets including Local Government, retail and specialist networking forums. 
 
Naturally adventurous and curious, these roles required a huge amount of administration, imagination and discipline to deliver on time. Being organised is a skill in itself. I have gained the ability to build relationships at all levels to quickly understand what is required and offer ideas to support business owners with the ‘bigger picture.’ With a can do attitude, I’m passionate about helping you move your business forward whilst remining distinctive and delivering real value to 
your clients.

One particular project was to research a client’s competitors who operated within Local Government finance. The work was highly confidential and key to the strategy my client was proposing to his client. Part of the brief was to analyse the revenue performance and I worked with him to identify the gaps in their activities, collate results and design a new sales pipeline document for board use to help them manage the sales expectations and forecast.

Ongoing work with a specialist recruiter within the Pharmaceutical Industry who operates globally. One area of work I support her with is sales support. This includes identifying and targeting prospects, CRM database management, newsletter creation and researching new leads to approach. One particular client I worked on wanted to understand if LinkedIn was a platform for developing their business through. They had always been very successful on Facebook and Instagram and required some research and a proposed strategy on how to use this platform for a new direction their business was taking 

IT Company - Guildford 

Brief was to call 120 museums to find contact information to approach via email introducing the latest audience participation technology. Customer was struggling to get this due to time constraints and the resistance to pick up the phone. 
 
What made this a great piece of work was I not only got the contact information, I also gained an amount of intel about the industry, their challenges and future plans which was invaluable for the client.
